Newfound Science Pub

April 16 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Bridgewater– Join the Newfound Lake Region Association (NLRA) at the Newfound Lake Inn on Wednesday, April 16th at 5pm for Newfound Science Pub, an engaging way to connect with experts in science and conservation – over food and drinks. Amphibians and reptiles are among the fastest disappearing species in the world. Rachelle Lyons, Professor of Environmental Science & Policy at Plymouth State University, will talk about challenges facing amphibians and efforts to support local populations. Get better acquainted with species of concern in the state, the habitats they need to thrive, and what can be done to record and protect local frogs, salamanders, and the places they call home. Discuss current issues, ask your burning questions, and share your own perspective in a casual, social atmosphere. This event is free; attendees arrive around 5pm to purchase food and drinks, and the conversation begins at 6pm. Registration is required. Register by visiting NewfoundLake.org/events or calling 603-744-8689.
