Gilford resident Anthony Limanni undertook an effort to show his support for GPD by designing, seeking out donations, having printed, and selling “Thank a Gilford Police Officer ” yard signs. Proceeds from sales are given to the GPD Relief Association, which, in turn, are then used to support residents in many manners. Patrick’s Pub & Eatery, Lowe’s, & Sawyer’s Dairy Bar all donated money to have the signs made. Gator Sign Shop assisted with designing and then printing the final product.
Wanting to show his support for GPD and to allow for others to do the same, Mr. Limanni approached GPD with the idea of putting together an evening with GPD personnel who will discuss many aspects of law enforcement, explain the agency Divisions and how each operates in order to carry out the Department’s mission and vision, and to have an open dialogue with those in attendance in order to field questions and provide factual responses to how police work in NH is conducted.
The event will be held in the Gilford High School Auditorium is open to the public, free of charge, and will be livestreamed by the DP Production Group under their “Regional Events” section (dppgnetwork.com). Anyone wishing to purchase a sign can contact Mr. Limanni at 603.528.6234 or at tonyfayelimanni@gmail.com.
