Description: Don’t let the winter cold keep you from adventure! Join the Squam Lakes Association on a 3.1-mile hike that will take you through several beaches on the University of New Hampshire’s Fiver Finger Point. We will hike a portion of Col Trail, then take a path that descends towards a loop that travels along the shoreline of Squam Lake. We will stop for a snack and water break every mile or so. Be prepared for a moderate hike with beautiful views of the lake and good company! Please bring snacks, plenty of water, weather-appropriate clothing and hiking gear, including extra layers, rain gear, extra socks/gloves/hats, etc. Additionally, please bring microspikes and/or snowshoes for this hike. If you don’t have any on hand, these can be borrowed from the SLA by request.
