Each year, one in every four adults age 65 and old falls. Falls can lead to moderate to severe injuries, such as hip fractures and head traumas, and can even increase the risk of early death. Fortunately, falls do not need to be accepted as a natural part of aging and are largely preventable. In this workshop, explore common factors that can lead to falls and single steps you can take to minimize the risk.
