The 18th Annual Thomas F. Mullen Golf Tounrament honors the memory of a kind, civic-minded man who was proud to call Laconia his home. Not only did Tom work at Laconia Savings Bank for many years, his involvement in organizations such as Dollars for Scholars, The Heart Foundation, the Greater Laconia United Way, and the Lakes Region General Hospital, illustrated his commitment to Laconia and it’s citizens, as well as his generous nature. Tom was also a Laconia Police Commissioner for several years and was an active aupporter of youth activities in the community he served.
In this spirit, all proceeds from the golf tournament fund the Laconia D.A.R.E. Program and the Laconia Police Relief Association, an organization which donates to many youth activities in the area and also provides aid to officers in the community during times of crisis. Your support and participation in this annual event benefits these valuable programs.
