Saturday Morning Cartoons: Bugs Bunny, Bullwinkle and Big Business in the 1960’s

Remember the good old days growing up when you watched cartoons on Saturday mornings while eating mini boxes of cereal?   Come to Hall Memorial Library on Saturday, March 15th at 10:30 am to learn the history behind our favorite cartoons and how the invention of TV brought Yogi Bear, Bugs Bunny and Rocky and Bullwinkle to our homes.   Margo Burns, from NH Humanities to Go, will show us some clips of our favorite cartoons and help us understand the beginnings of the Saturday morning cartoon tradition and the way marketing to children began.  Mini cereal boxes and milk will be served!  This program is for adults only.
