*Because of the unpredictable nature of his condition, we’re rushing this event, so that Glenn can participate while he’s still well enough.
Due to the rushed schedule, we’ve contacted Arnie’s and Patrick’s already, but have not heard back yet, and need to move forward so that people can arrange their schedules. Thus, the venue is subject to change.

We plan to meet at Arnie’s (TENTATIVELY) in Concord and ride up to Patrick’s (TENTATIVELY) in Gilford.

We’ll depart with bikes in the front and cars behind. We will have some items to decorate your ride, but feel free to express yourself and make Glenn’s day!

You may know him as Pa, Hippy, Pep, Dad, or just Glenn. But, chances are he’s made you smile at least once. Now, he needs us to lift his spirits.

Glenn has been a fighter his whole life— literally from birth. He had complications as a newborn back in 1955. He beat the odds then. He fractured his spine in 1981, when he went down on Sheila’s Kawasaki 440. Beat the odds then, too— they told him he wouldn’t walk again. He had open heart surgery in 2009 for congenital defects, repairing a huge thoracic aortic aneurysm and replacing a leaking bicuspid valve with a surgical steel artificial valve.

He’s been a cancer warrior since 2004. He’s been battling bladder cancer since then. He also beat skin cancer. But, now, the enemy is a lot more agressive— stage IV inoperable non small cell lung cancer.

And that’s just his body…

He’s also cared for his wife— Ma, Mama, Midge, Mem, Sheila— call her what you will. Through multiple orthopedic surgeries on her shoulders and wrists, a traumatic brain injury, breast cancer (she kicked its ass!), skin cancer (beat that, too), and multiple myeloma (in remission!).

Oh, and while they’re not at the Payson Center for Cancer Care, they’re raising their three awesome grandchildren, Autumn, Marley, and Marcus.
